IBT TOEFL

LHHS has an amazing TOEFL program for you! Our teacher has 15 years of TOEFL experience. Many of our students score 90%+ on the IBT exam. If you really need a high TOEFL score then this is the class you should take.

The purpose of A LHHS ESL is to give each learner all the important tools needed to read and speak the English language. Stories will also be taught, giving each learner additional opportunity to hear and learn the English language while learning English vocabulary. With this solid foundation, the learner can use English in any situation LHHS ESL is comprehensive English as a Second Language (ESL) program available in three levels.

Leve l 1-1 Year

LHHS ESL Level 1 (Beginning)

Recommended for learners of any age who desire introductory and basic lessons in English vocabulary, pronunciation, and reading and listening comprehension. The teacher begins with individual English sounds, common words, and simple stories that build throughout the course. Extended vocabulary and listening skills (through storytelling) are added as the learner progresses.

Leve l 2-1 Year

LHHS ESL Level 2 (Intermediate)

Recommended for those with some knowledge of English. The course is intended to help the learner improve his English pronunciation and accent. There is increased emphasis on vocabulary development and reading and listening comprehension. English grammar studies are added for learners who desire to know how the language works.

Level 3-1 Year

LHHS ESL Level 3 (Advanced)

Recommended for the English language learner who is familiar with English as a second language but needs to hear English spoken by a native English speaker to increase fluency and vocabulary and to improve pronunciation. Level 3 provides more advanced comprehension practice, word studies, and language studies.
